I thought it would be cool to see some of the coaching tree's out there (Coaches former wrestlers that are now head coaches). I will start with my old high school coach David Brown (Fort Scott) his coaching tree is solid in Southeast Kansas
David Brown's former Fort Scott wrestlers that are now head coaches L.C. Davis Pittsburg Andy Albright Chanute Alvin Metcalf Jr. Fort Scott Darvin Willard Paola (just named head coach at Paola) Cody Kramer Uniontown Brett Kramer Jayhawk-Linn

Not all wrestled for same coach but all graduated from Atwood High School:
Regan Erickson- Santa Fe Trail Mitch Beims- Formerly Colby High School Scott Urban- Atwood Rawlins County Joseph Sramek- Goodland High School Jeremy Samson- Trego Community High School Rick Williams- Colby Assistant Coach Tim McFee- Atwood Rawlins County Assistant Jeff Buck- Cherokee Trails High School in Colorado
Entire staff for Colby 2001 state championship Mitch Beims, Scott Urban, and Ray Higley all Atwood Alumni
I may be missing a few.

Lee Woodford, HOF coach from Manhattan, has a pretty impressive coaching tree as well. I hesitate to post as I am sure to forget some, but these are the first that come to mind:
Adam Polansky, Republic County Head Coach Kale Mann, BVHS Head Coach Mike Bammes, Barton County CC Head Coach D. Parker, WRHS Head Coach Anthony Whetstone, Ark City Asst. Coach Cordell Black, Manhattan Asst. Coach (form.) Steve Perchellet, Manhattan Asst. Coach (form.) Jason Brown, Anderson Co/Sabetha HC, WW Asst Co. Shawn Bammes, Manhattan Asst. Coach
The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.

I'm sure I'm forgetting someone, but Brad Fredrickson (KWCA HOF 2014) of Plainville inspired a solid line of KS high school coaches. Here are the head coaches that I could think of: Joe Dreher (Oberlin) Ryan Becker (Plainville & Osborne) DJ Basgall (Plainville) Brandon Terry (Augusta & Herington) Corey Dobson (Plainville) Shane Bird (Oberlin) Cole Fredrickson (Marysville) Dan Weigel (Russell) – didn’t wrestle for Fredrickson but did for Dobson

You could expand that one level above Brad and the Buzz Matson tree out of Oberlin was solid. I know I am probably missing a few but you could include Brad Fredrickson, Jon Lippelmann in that. I know some of you could expand on that better than me.

Coaching tree of Pudge Wilson at DCCC. I would imagine there are quite a few more, but these are the ones I wrestled with. Jude Wilson, St. Mary Mark Dudney, St Mary Chris Schaefer, Silver Lake Lance Walker, Cimmrron Chuck Schremmer, SES Brandon Armbruster, Ellis The next two have coached, but they turned officiating. Josh Bierra Chad Harris
