We are working on providing a Girls Division for the Leavenworth Challenger (12/5) this year. We are looking through the logistics to try to make it work. I will update everyone as soon as we know more.

We would like to host a girls triangular dual with a couple teams. Our boys schedule is full, but we would like to do a spotlight dual for our girls. If anyone is interested let us know.

Have girls: will travel.
Washburn Rural is likely going to have between 50 and 70 girls out this year....I know that several varsity boys tournament are adding a girl's division...any others besides the ones listed above? Also, we are thinking about hosting a girl's-only event on 2-1-2020. Would any teams have interest in bringing their gals to Topeka?
The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.

Has there been any updates to the girls tournaments? As far as who is having one or not having one. My AD and I are trying to put together a plan on where to wrestle our two young ladies. Thanks Josh Parker

I do know that Wichita East is no longer having one on 1/11, but Wichita North is adding a Girls division on that same day.

Washburn Rural is definitely holding one on 2-1-20. If you want in and haven't contacted me yet let me know and we'll get you a contract.
We had 63 girls at alpha weigh-ins yesterday, so if anyone else is holding one on the eastern half of the state speak up...we need a home on Saturdays!

There will be a girls division in the Hays High, Junior Prairie Classic JV wrestling Tournament this year. The tournament is Jan. 18th 2020

Caney Valley hosted a great girls tournament today. Right along with a Varsity and Junior Varsity tournaments happening in the same building. Awesome thing to see.
