If our high school wrestling program has not started. Can i take my 9 th grader 14 year old to wrestle in other state ? would ths cause any trouble or am I a allowed until his team starts practice.? some one that knows the laws help me.

As long as your athlete has not started regular season practices with his/her respective high school/middle school team, he/she is allowed to compete wherever/whenever he/she would like. Once an athlete begins regular season practices with his/her school, he/she is not allowed to participate in any events (tournaments/camps/practices) that are not associated with his/her respective high school/middle school program.
In other words, athlete is free to do as he/she wants until regular season practices begin and he/she steps foot in the room. Some athletes actually wait a week to begin school practices for this very reason.

The fact that girls are forced to wrestle at state in the middle of the week is laughably sexist.

Great question, and not sure if there are any rules from KSHSAA prohibiting this or not.
I know Wyatt Henson (Sammie Henson's son) just competed over the weekend at the Clarion Open taking 3rd place. He is a Missouri high school senior.

I thought NCAA in the last few years prohibited tournaments from allowing HS kids to enter.
