USA Wrestling – Kansas is interested in helping pay part of your cost to go compete and make a World Team! As of right now, we do not have a large group contingency traveling out together. However, we still want to incentivize our best Kansas wrestlers to go compete for a spot on the World Team!
Please see the incentives below. The wrestler may qualify for only one of monetary incentive amounts below. At this time, you may NOT combine multiple incentives. The incentive, is a monetary compensation, it will be paid back following the event, and that proof is shown the wrestler competed in the tournament.

2017, 2018, 2019 Junior or 16U All American (2nd-8th) (FS or GR) $250.00
2017, 2018, 2019 Novice or Schoolboy National Champion (FS or GR) $200.00
2017, 2018, 2019 Novice or Schoolboy All American (2nd-8th) (FS or GR) $150.00
2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Regional Champion (FS/GR) $150.00
2017, 2018, 2019 Kansas State Champion (FS or GR) $125.00
2017, 2018, 2019 Triple Crown Winner (FK,FS,GR) $200.00

Following the competition, additional monetary compensation could be handed out based on remaining budget and discussion with the USAWKS – Board of Directors.

The cost for Coaching Bands will be reimbursed, any further reimbursement will have to be looked at following the event, and can be discussed with Tyler Gonzales, Kansas FS/GR Director, gonzales.tyler05@gmail.com

Please let Tyler Gonzales know if you are planning to attend this event. So we may build a list of Kansas attendees. There is likely a handful athletes that would love to attend but may have parental / guardian attending with them. If an athlete is interested in attending, we would like to help accommodate and get them to the competition, and are aware there are other families willing to help “chaperone” another wrestler on the trip.
