The 58th Annual Newton TOC is off to a fast start this morning! They will wrestle the first seven weights to completion today with the last seven weights tomorrow! Awesome way to reduce the numbers and STILL wrestle great brackets. While not hosting the usual 31-32 teams, there are still 21 teams competing! Eighteen from Kansas, two Oklahoma and Seneca, MO.
Goddard headlines the field, though far from full strength. Andale, Ark City, Derby, Garden City, Maize and Newton vie for the top spot with several ranked wrestlers.
Congrats to Newton head coach Tommy Edgemon for gathering these teams to compete in this perennial classic tournament!
