Greetings, Members of USA Wrestling Kansas,
Welcome to the
2025–2026 Bylaw Proposals Review Forum — a space created to encourage early, collaborative discussion ahead of our annual October state body meeting.
This forum serves two key goals:
- Transparency – Every proposed bylaw change for the upcoming season will be presented here for your review.
- Preparation – Engaging in respectful dialogue now means more efficient and productive decision-making when we meet in October.
How to participate:- Review each proposal thread and reply with your insights, questions.
- Use clear language and reference proposal titles or line numbers when possible.
- Stay civil and focused — this is a deliberative space, not a debate arena.
We encourage all members to voice their thoughts constructively so we arrive at our meeting well-informed and unified. The goal here is to provide advanced deliberation amongst those that will be voting yes or no for these proposals. If members can work out their disagreements or shore up their decisions based on discussion here, then we won't have to have hour long debates at the State Body meeting. Given that there are 20 plus proposals this year, it in in all of our interests for people to be informed ahead of time and be ready to vote the way they will when the time times.
Forum moderators may guide discussions to keep things on track.
There will be ONE thread per proposal (exception when same individual submitted multiple proposals in the same communication) submitted before the By-law mandated last day for submission. No additional threads will be created.
These will be posted in no particular order, and not necessarily the order in which they will be voted on at the state body meeting.
Thank you for your commitment to the growth and integrity of wrestling in Kansas. Let’s make this season stronger together.
One thing that cannot be stressed enough is that these discussions need to stay on topic and respectful. Anyone going outside of this won't be allowed any further participation.
