Had the privilege of serving as PA announcer for the 321A Boys & Girls State Tournament this weekend.
This event continues to prove why it’s one of the best in Kansas. Elite competition. Big-time moments. Incredible heart from first whistle to last match.
The blood round intensity, the finals atmosphere, the emotion on and off the mat — it’s what makes this sport different.
I’ve been part of wrestling as a fan, wrestler, coach… and now behind the mic. Just trying to bring the right energy to matches these athletes have worked their whole lives for.
Grateful to still be around the sport and proud to be part of an event that means so much to so many families.
