I second that. Whoever wins at the Chapman regional in 140 has an excellent chance at winning state.

#4 Jon Arveson-Chapman
#5 Chris Schiedmen-Wamego

Lorenzo Mundy, Jon Arveson, Chris Scheideman, Jordan Kolterman, Willy Lucero, and Nathan Wuthnow are all in the Chapman regional.

I believe Nathan Wuthnow of Abilene is at 135 but Ryan Jared of Abilene has a win over Chris Scheideman this year and will be tough. Jovonnie Franklin of Atchison probably has only one loss and has pinned many opponents. This will be a tough regional to qualify out of, but there is no doubt in my mind that Cole Garcia of Colby is clearly the favorite to win this weight at state. Jake Kriegbaum lost very few matches in his high school career - Cole was one of them.

Jordan Meyer of Sabetha is a darn good little wrestler right now in 3a. He did lose to Franklin at the Sabetha tourney and one loss to a runner-up from Nebraska. Right now he is 8-2 and is looking very solid. As far as placing I am not going to speculate (I hope he does, I am his coach). But we will see Lucero (Thrusday and Saturday) and also the kid from SFT on Saturday. We are in the Rossville Regional, not as stacked I know but I do not set the teams so I am not complaining. My 5 that made it last year all deserved to go and made a great showing.
That's all, just thought I would comment.
Nice to see Coach Ross on the forum. Hope all is well and any time you could come to Sabetha these boys would love to see or hear fomr ya.
Respectfully,
Coach Brown

I'll change from the 3A-4A classes
To just 4A

but feel free to comment about other classes that are doing well.

It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

Garcia is wrestling at 145 this year I think, from what I've heard anyways. And Ryan Jared from Abilene is 140.
