I just wondered if this has ever happened before.... has any team ever won state three years in a row?

Ark City won it 11 years in a row ( I think, 1988-1999).

Obviously ,yes Count Ark City in the double digits and of course Beloit had what 6 in a row. It is still quite an accomplishment though and it looks like you should be favored to get the job done. Good Luck

What was the score? The Norton web doesn't have it. I looked at the brackets though, put two and two together and it seemed apparent you won it.

I see Schippers defaulted. Was that just a pre-caution after he qualified? I hope so.

beloit has won it 4 times in a row back in the eighties when every one on the team placed at state
but now we ain't got that much talent

You are absolutely correct..Ark City won it in 1988 and every consecutive year until 1999. 11 straight titles.

I just looked it up. Beloit did win 6 in a row not 4 and I also question the other half of Swank post. Also Garden city won 4 90-93 and Emporia won 3 87-89. Also St Francis and Wichita east each won 5 in a row back in the day.
