This has been a spirited debate and I like those lol. It is hard to defend Title IX on a wrestling board. We have suffered more than anyone as a direct result of that rule. I am sure if I had a girl who was a college basketball player I might think differently but I am a former long time wrestling coach and it is very sad what has happened to some very good programs around the country, not just unsuccessful ones or ones that weren't drawing. Only a state wide uproar kept Northern Iowa from losing theirs a few years back and they pay big time for theirs. It is a tough deal that has happened to us but I appreciate your opinion even though I think it is horse pucky and I sure liked debating it with you.
