Why did Kyle Patton move down in the rankings? Did he get beat in the last week or something?

Patton was defeated by freshman Tyler Baker of Hoxie. Was put on his back a couple of times. Cant remember the score, but it was just shy of being a major.

I think it was 8-1 or 8-2....but Baker rode him for the 2nd and 3rd periods. Handled him pretty easily.

Tyler baker is a good tough kid, those rankings don't mean a whole lot. HOxie's whole squad is tight

patton is a two time state champ. he is very good obviously. he could easily win his third straight. dont count him out just cause he got beat once.

Don't forget two years ago Patton got beat in this tournament by the Norton 103 and went on to win state. I think this loss will be of great benefit to Patton.

Patton will still win state. The loss will just piss him off.

knowing kyle it wont piss him off, it will make him look at the match and see what he can do to improve, it is good to lose sometimes and not win every match. It also will take some of the pressure off of Kyle
