I think if the tattoo is deemed offensive or doesn't reflect wrestling positively it must be covered up. I remember a guy back when I was wrestling had to cover up a marijuana leaf tat.

There is prolly a rule if the tattoo is offensive. Like if its an asian moped gang sign or if its a naked ladie. Shoot maybe even if its two midgets....Well nevermind. Im guessin you have to cover those up.

I can find nothing in the rules book. I can find from internet search that some schools and some states have adopted rules, but can't find anything related to Kansas. I am not certain but would assume that if rules exist in Kansas it is up to each individual school. Again, went through the NFHS rule book and couldn't find anything. Don't mean it isn't there but I didn't find it.

Maybe you're not an ugly human, but a good looking ape.....with exceptional verbal skills.

I don't know if it's in the rule book, but I know we've been told that an official has the ultimate say-so about covering tats up. It depends on if it is offensive in nature.
I personally think covering up tatoos should not be allowed. I mean, he looked pretty sweet in the little white suit. And who would point out that the plane was coming???? (Does this date me?)

Does the tattoo make you wrestle better or is just for your ego?

I think STA wrestlers have to cover up their tattoos because school policy and that is the only example that it was an issue.
takedowns= success
