I was wondering if any one had any opinions on the 4A and 5A heavy weights and how they think they are going to end up this year and who they think will win and place at state.

I think DelToro is the best 275 in 4A. Venegas is the best 275 in 6A. I don't know about 5A. I would probably pick Duffy of Salina Central. I think 3A is wide open.

Heavyweight is probably one of the easiest weights to pick this early, you kind of have a pretty good idea who is going to be 275.

Turner should have a decent heavy-weight. He hasn't wrestled since his 8th grade year, but he is working hard. He should do well this year because in my own opionion heavy-weight this year in 5a is going to be very weak.

The thing about HWT is anybody can win if they get on top of you your not getting off your back. But 6A Venegas 5a Duffy beat Venegas at kids state last year so I would say he is the favorite 4a Shane Grant and 3a the Norton Kid

3-2-1A:
I am not saying that I am the best by any means or anything like that. But I think that a lot of very talented athletes are being underestimated this year in all weight classes. I think a lot of people will be suprised.

I'm a coach at Olathe North and Adam Venegas is going to win state this year at the heavyweight spot. There is no one in the state of Kansas that can stop him so I'm picking him.
