Heres some tips everyone:

1) Bring in the newer humongous gatorade jugs that are clear. I brought in three of them and they just asked if it was water.
2) Pack those little bitty lunchables and wrap them up in clothes etc. I packed 6 of them into one bag and the security fondled through all of my stuff.
3) Scatter other miscellaneous items through gear such as in shoes in mom's purse (I know my mom would never let some wrestling security guard search through HER purse)
4)Pack most of whatever you can (candybars, little applesauces etc.)in your jean pockets, in hoodies, in coat pockets.
5) Don't look suspicious!!!!

Hey, don't forget about that valuable space around your ankles if your sweats have elastic on the bottom. If you work hard, you can pack stuff halfway to your knees!

We too were assalted by security. My son had about one swallow of 3 week old gatorade in a bottle from practice that he had not removed from his smelly wrestling bag and the "EXPO GESTAPO" literally took it and threw it across the entry. My twelve year old assured the security lady that he had no intention of finishing the gatorade after this time and had just not cleaned out his bag, but was scolded for not following the rules. We actually got a big laugh out of it.

I will be manufacturing a false bottom duffle bag for next years Tourny. If anyone is interested in purchasing one let me know... Look at that I'm as bad as they are, trying to capitalize on a weekend that so many people donate hours and hours of time and money to make this thing happen. Maybe I'll just post the blue print on the internet somewhere.

Personally, I like to go next door to the horse barn. Nice people, relatively inexpensive food and the best part is thinking to myself,

"I bet this is the horse that took last place last weekend."
