If a match were to have gone into double overtime and the top rode out the bottom, the score would be shown as 5-4 RO, according to NFHS.

I'm not too sure why you would have seen 6-4 tb unless they were in a round robin bracket and it was the third match and used to determine the tiebreak of a 1-1 bracket...

Hope this helps!
All of the statement from Koranda is incorrect!

According to the National Federation of State High School Associations 2004-2005 Rule Book:

Scoring Abbreviations (pg. 50) TB stands for Tie Breaker.

Rule 6 - Conduct of Matches
Section 7 Overtime
Rule 6, Section 7, Article 1 (pg. 30)

". . . If no winner is declared by the end of the 1-minute overtime period, a 30-second tiebreaker will be wrestled. The choice for position in the tiebreaker will be granted to the wrestler who scores the first point(s) in the regulation match (points for double-stalling or simultaneous penalties shall be considered as no points scored for the purposes of the tiebreaker choice). Should no points be scored in the regulation match, the referee shall flip a disk to determine which wrestler has the choice of starting position for the tiebreaker. The wrestler who has the choice may select the offensive (top) or defensive (bottom) position or elect to defer the choice of top or bottom to the opponent.

The wrestler who scores the first point(s) during the tiebreaker will be declared the winner. If no scoring occurs in the 30 seconds the offensive wrestler will be declared the winner and one match point shall be added to the offensive wrestler's score."

Rule 6, Section 7, Article 3

"If the points earned in the overtime period or the tiebreaker involve a takedown or reversal straight to the back, the match shall continue until the near fall or fall situation has concluded."
