We would win Grand Break-Dancing State!!! and yes we do drill some of it when we feel the need to have some fun (can't be serious all the time right?)...that along with some dodge-ball, sumo wrestling, and many different kinds of tag!!! Also have a competition to see who can make themselves pass out in practice from working really hard, no one has accomplished that but I think I've came pretty close!

Hey Butt-Head what did people do before they invented TV?
Don't be stupid Beavis there's always been TV, there's just more channels now.
Oh yeah, heh heh hehe... progress is cool. Heh hehe heh

Kolt West wreslted at 275 for Caney this year and is a senior. Jeremy Stefanapolus wrestled either 171 or 189 and is a freshman. Luke Freisberg wreslted at 160 this year and is a senior. He is probably who you are thinking of.

I am Nathan Shaw. I am a 2003 graduate of CVHS. I qualified for 4a state my senior year in wrestling. Though, according to these guys, I didn't deserve to.

You can see me on the brackets on this website. I was Jordan Bedore's first match

It would never happen.

Plus, let's look at the cycle of wrestling, historically speaking. The Wichita area is extremely tough and has been for the past few years.

Other areas have been tough too and are down right now.

As far as breakdancing is concerned, can we have a "seniors" division? I've still got some killer moves that I break out only at weddings. I've got mad skills. I'll bring my cardboard.

You can not put in struggling finacial budgets in the mix. Clearwater had to travel no matter what. What if they had a finacial stain. You can not put a reginal ranking on a team from the privious year either. What if they had a big senior class. The best way (will never happen) is to PAY ATTENTION TO THE TEAMS DURING THE YEAR AND TRY TO SPREAD THEM OUT EVENLY for reginals. But then again I said "PAY ATENTION". In order for some one to pay attention to something the must enjoy or have at least experienced what the are paying attention to.

Churchy, I think that is a good idea!

vikes, they could rank them without the kids that have passed. Kind of like College football. Even though many kids graduate, some schools still are powerhouses with new kids.

The rest of you get to long-winded so I decided to skip you guys.

I do believe something needs to be done about getting the best kids to the state tournament. They always compare wrestling to football and how some districts are weaker, but football has a longer system to get to the state game therefore the weak teams are weeded out. In wrestling there is only one regional tournament. Why couldn't they have a system where coaches and officials rank the top 5 regional teams and send them to different places.
You would think the coaches would be all for this because the state tournament is for the best kids and I don't think the best are getting there. This would only make for a more exciting and competitive state tournament.
