Did they dual on Thursday? And if they did what was the Strawn and Pursel match score?

Rumor is that Strawn got hurt at practice earlier in the week. I hear that it is not that serious,(good to hear that)so he should be back sometime soon. It did make the evening a little less enjoyable, I would have loved to seen them go after it!

I talked to Strawn at the dual and he said he'd be back Saturday for the league tourney where him and Pursel will go at it.

Strawn should easily win.

pursel is a two time state champion it will nto be easy

who cares if he is a 2 time state champ?? does that mean anything? no

Well if he is a two time state champ then that means he is probably pretty good. I personally think that means that it would probably be a good match.

Strawn beat Cisper and Cisper dominated Pursel. While I do admit Cisper wrestled better Pursel than Strawn, Strawn is the best 189er in Kansas. IMHO of course.

Strawn and Pursel went 1-1 last year sometime when they wrestled, i think one time was at a dual and one time in federation...it'll be a good match, all there is to it.

Cisper dominates a lot of kids, but has had trouble with Strawn's style. Style's have a lot to do with it.

I wrestled strawn ealyer this year and I think gutwrench is right strawn has a way different style then other 189 wrestlers.
