This is going to be a good one and the 103 class is as tough as any national tournament this year. Looking forward to it, the 103 will have Furches from Derby, Adamson from Bishop Lynch, Dante Rogers from Wichita NW, Keller from Bishop Carroll, Rupp from Perry Oklahoma, Vesta from Manhattan, among others. All of these are national caliber wrestlers and it is going to be exciting. We will also get to see a rematch against Goddard and Bishop Lynch. Throw in a tough Derby team and others; this one is going to be a barnburner. Looking forward to two days of wrestling in Newton.

103 Adamson-Bishop Lynch(Nationally Ranked) Furches- Derby (Nationaly, and ranked 1st 6A) Roger- WNW (2nd 6A) Keller- Carrol (1st 5A) Willamson- Mill Valley (2nd 5A) Brewer- Colby (3rd 4A) Rose- Emporia Hoag- Ark City Vesta- Mannhattan Oklahoma kid is unknown so he could be good. Note: not in order of what I think will happen just who came to mind. Pretty Freaking STACKED.
119 Madden- Norton (1st 123A) Graham- Ark City (Defending 5a state Champ) Altman- Derby (Defending 6A state Champ) Ely- Leavenworth (I think hes 1st in 6A) Bolay- Goddard I would love to see all of these kids like wrestle in a round robin tournament. All are very good.
If I was rich I would be skipping school to go and watch this tournament. But Im not so I'll just stay up here and watch Basehor

Mr. Furches, We do not attend the Newton Tournament. We are hosting our JV tournament next weekend. Good luck to all of the teams.

I think this tournament is definitely going to live up to its suffix this year, no matter what weight class.

Laddie Rupp is a great wrestler and multi kids state champion, Jr. High Champion, and Tulsa National Champion among others. I am not certain, but I think he won the trinity in the past and has been a Cliff Keen World All-Star Team Member several times. He and Nathan have wrestled several times, going back and forth. Laddie has been a little light this year but is still a great wrestler who has beaten Furches, Cox and others on a national level. Believe me, if he is taken lightly, because of size or whatever other reason, there could be trouble for whoever is facing him.

TURN OFF YOUR CAPS KEY. There is no need for such malarkey in a highschool wrestling forum. 1/8 of an inch is the distance from sounding loud to sounding edumacated.

Newton TOC sounds like it will be great as usual. What is the schedule. Friday do they wrestle thru the semi's? Saturday what time will the finals start?
Thanks!

140- Who all is there? Where is the younger Ashmore from Bishop Lynch? If he is at 140, we may get to see a finals match between Garcia and Ashmore.

I've never seen Hentzen of Maize wrestle, but past results would indicate that he might be Garcia's toughest test this year.

I would like too remind everyone that is interested in the TOC they can listen too it on the radio station that loves wrestling. Listen to http://www.kqnk.com for the finals. KQNK will deliver all the finals of the tournament, this tourney draws alot of interest and I hope that you can join Fig Millan And Rick Green for coverage of the finals. During Friday and Saturday afternoon they will cover the Norton Bluejays but when it comes to the finals they will cover your wrestler in the finals.Check in and they will try to give coverage of the tournament and the scores . Hope you can join them, it should be a good tourney regardless who wins.....

Norton's radio station will be broadcasting the event. Norton matches will be broadcast up to the finals and they will broadcast the entire finals matches. You can listen in on the net. Go to kqnk.com. Fig Millan does a great job of desscribing the action. Give it a listen if you can't make it.
