District 1 South subdistrict results:

1 - Napier
2 - Van Treece (Paola)
3 - Henes (STA)
4 - Chanute kid (don't know the name!)

Finley from Chanute, very tough stacked bracket.
Q. Ibarra, a very talented wrestler was put out by Finley. Henes put out his teammate B. Sulivan. At least the top three will be tough at State. As posted above Brent Fisher will be one of the toughest.

Thought of another one at practice. Josh Hogan was pretty tough at the Classic for having only a half dozen matches. Makes that bracket even tougher at District. One of those five won't make the trip who else is in the north ? Whomever takes the forth seed out of that bracket better have their shoes laced up tight.

Does the South really think the North is easier?

What about skip VanTrecc (i think that is how you spell it) He beat C.J. Napier at districts. It was a great match. If skip is on his A game he can win it, but i think ficsher will win it.

Travis Budke I got to watch him wrestle in middle school. He lost once to this Arrelo kid at Goodland. And came back and beat him for the gold at Larned.
