To Mr. Dwelsh:

I do not tolerate everything except religion. In fact, I am a Christian. I am not an iconoclast and would never want anyone to think that I am. My problem with quoting scripture in a non-religious context is rooted in a couple of areas. The first being that none of us come close to living up to Christ's standard or his teachings; all of us fall short and so I believe that when you quote from the Bible you are in a sense putting yourself on a pedestal and saying, "I am better than you are." The second, and not quite as strong I might add, conviction that I hold is that not everyone wants to hear your preacher speak, so why bother them?

So I hope that I have clarified myself and we can end this philosophical talk and get back to wrestling.
