I still say give it up. After much thought I have to remind myself of the question used as a tag line by USAWKS1. "Are you making a POSITIVE difference in the life of kids?"

I have to be honest here. I like Curtis, consider him a dear friend, also am getting to like and appreciate billy_mcjackson_ripjc since of humor, (I do have to admit I am not fully there yet but he does make me laugh at times and that is a positive. I also appreciate the fact that he laughs at himself.) But I have to ask myself what is there positive about this whole thing? Especially the way it came about? Truth is, I read about the fun component on the forums, but I also know from talking to people that things are still not rosy like they are presented here and there is some animosity. That being the case, I just don't see the benefit. At least on this issue I’ll try to be consistent. I don’t think any of these individuals have a thing to prove. Chris had a great high school career, coming up just short to a wrestler he had previously defeated. He is still involved at KU and I applaud him for that. Curtis, same thing, fell just short to a great wrestler, you also have a career ahead of you at Kansas Newman. I just don’t see what the benefit of something like this will be. I don’t want to hear that all of these people will be there. Truth is that besides the two of you, you might have 10 people there. I just don’t see the overall benefit to that other than pride. By the way, to answer a comment or question by billy_mcjackson_ripjc on another thread. Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.
