Who will be the champs at the classic?


Individual and team, please.

TEAM wise here are my favorites (for the 2nd time):

1. STA
2. Spring Hill
3. Blue Valley
4. SM North/Olathe South (couldn't decide)

Look for SM North in the backdoors with 9 seniors

STA lightweight legion and Cisper

Spring Hill and Blue Valley's scattered talent

Overall its going to be alot closer then years in the past. It might only take 200 points to win the Classic.

A-QUAR-tels: Leavenworth is not in Johnson County and it is Curran.

189: Turbo-OE (AKA Mat Jenkins)

Rocknraider- try helping us out with some of those lighter weights, I wasn't even sure if there was anyone in Johnson County wrestling 119 this year, and also who is at 112 besides A-Ron Puglisi.

Erisman yes

Brock Gentry wil be back from injury possibly at 112.

I don't think Jenkins will win it Schieber. Not that he's bad or anything, I just think that there has to be a couple better wrestlers out there, maybe even the S.M. Northwest 189.

Shumate will win it at 103 too.

Yeah, that was a joke Robinson. Turbo is pretty good but he should not win it. What wieght is your Marshall kid, think he could do it? I must disagree with you about the SMNW 89 lber because Turbo pinned him in the first period, I think he just had a bad day at SMNW this past weekend.

Yeah, sorry, it was just a typo. I was surprised about Matt doing as well as he did though. I used to mess around with him at East Kansas and I thought he'd get worked, but he did look pretty tough.

I will make changes....

Oh Ben...there's no way I would have done that again this year. It was last year I started at 230 in November and cut to 189 in a month, which was fine for a while but by the end of the year it sucked. This year I decided to stay at a nice and healthy 215. In fact, I'm only 210 right now so I can even eat.

i saw some tourney results where it had u at 189, leading me to believe u made weight there. sorry about that, my fault my shawnee mission brotha. see u at the classic son.

suh- barlet is finally back in action, he wont be able to wrestle in the joco classics but he will be able to wrestle in the next tourny though... he says he might wrestle 112 or 119. but thought i would tell you.

FYI Suh, Ben boyd is wrestling 130 this year and he is 10-2 right now.

It's understandable Ben, I carry my weight so well people must think I'm a 189 pounder. But in reality I'm a fatty through and through. Hey, can't wait to see you at the Classic, it should be pretty awesome this year.

That is freaking awesome that little punk finally recovered from this injury. The team sorely needs his points.

I am not suprised that boyd decided to go 130. He was fat in the offseason. It sounds like the weight jump hasnt hurt his performance. Who are his victories and losses against?

Yes indeed the Classic will be awesome. Quite a bit of new faces and good competition at some weights will stir up some excitement. I am hoping we beat SME in the points race though...

At 171 SMN has had Tim Wolkey at the Leavenworth tourney and at our dual. He also deserves consideration. And what about Aaron Puglisi (OE)and "Turbo" Jenkins(OE) at 112 and 189 respectively?
