I'll have team scores and what place winners I have up by 9:30 at my rivals.com site. Coach A is still playing with his computer and is figureing out how to send me the brackets after 103 pounds.

Very close match, and I was almost right. Augusta would have won this had J.J. Pittman at 112 and Derek Alley at 160 been able to wrestle.
The rule on match limits which was decided on before the tournament comes into play and costs the Orioles seven points. (lose the championship by one) But that was decided before the championship and can be lived with. (Instead of a default by the wresler in the third place match who had reached the limit, they split the points between them. Happened four times in the meet, two with the Orioles losing the third place points. This was a tournament rule, decided before the matches started so there is no problem with that. Congrats South.
On Pittman, he has been ill since Jan. 9 and has wrestled only one match since then, which he pinned the kid in first period. Both losses in Augusta invitational were due to the illness. He will be back in time for the regionals. actually, he will be back for a very tough Rose Hill invitational on Saturday which Rivals.com will have a photo layout of online on Sunday next week. See you there.

It was a close decision, my bracket doesn't have the score on it. Most of Earls finals are close, but he always seems to be in control. My upset match of the night was Galemore and Ashpole. The way Ashpole wrestled at Newton I would have bet on him. I have to admit, Galemore has a nice, tight Headlock.

Got the brackets and they are online. Could not find them at any Chanute site. Individual places seem to be missing four matches. I'm betting the computer couldn't handle the spliting of the third and fourth points so there is nothing in there.

Wilderman and Jones was not so close. Jones, I believe 7-2. Jones was in control of the entire match.

Click on the little house above that says authors homepage and that will take you to team scores, brackets, and individual placings except for the four screwed up brackets.

JD, My guess is that Ashpole was avoiding the 130lbs. weight bracket that was going to be loaded with Earl Jones, Mike Wilderman, Marcus Bowman(Columbus didn't come but was on the program), and Caleb Hulse.
I guess the move paid off because he made it to the finals but got pinned by Galmore of Chanute!

Coach Alley I have a question my son wrestles and has a decent record but he has had some difficulties with wrestlers avoiding his moves by backing up and when he finishes the move they are out of bounds. He doesnt want to pull them back in bounds too much to avoid losing his balance. Any suggestions?

Thanks to Coach Alley also. I am enjoying checking all the sites out. Is there anyway to help coordinate effort on some of the tourneys to get everything posted at KWCA?
