As this the first state tournament to coach at I am hoping you can put my fears to rest. If I am reading the criteria for floor coaching passes correctly each club will get two passes (minus one is no one attended the state meeting), plus one for every five kids. I coach for a very small club. I worked the weekend of Salina and the other active coach (we have some minor helpers) was not able to go either. We qualified 4 kids. 3 high school age and my son who is 7 (8u). The other coach has never coached my son and I have never coached the high school kids. We have very small practice facilities and we split our practices. Anyway am I correct that we will only have ONE pass. We need at least two as there will be a time when we will have conflicts. I am scared to death that my son after working all year will have to worry that I will not be there to coach him. I realize the intend of limiting the passes, but will a wrestler be forced to take the mat without a coach, and how will a 7yr old have the maturity to tell them he can't wrestle until his coach arrives without getting totally overwhelmed. Please tell me there is a way that we can get two passes! Help. Mike Pursel-Tonganoxie Kids
