Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Brackets

This is a joke, why aren't the brackets up yet. I understand yesterday was Presidents day, but that's no excuse. Thanks to those who have done the brackets here on the website, but it's not the same.

KSHSAA has never prepared or published the brackets on the internet.

The format for the brackets has been posted since Sunday.

Sorry Salyer, but 321 is on the internet!! Why not 4 5 and 6.

Last year there was a link I gave to family or friends that weren't going to Wichita to monitor everyone's progress. Will that site be there this year as well, and when will we be able to link to it?

I was on Ellis high schools web site yesterday and they was almost completed with there brackets.

You're incorrect on this one. I know for a fact in 2003 that the KSHSAA compiled a list of first round matchups that included each wrestler's school and record. It wasn't a bracket, but it showed the first round matchups and was divided like one. For those of us who are too lazy to figure out the matchups, it was a nice bonus.

Class 321a and Hays Kansas is where it's at.

I like the brackets online rather than doing my own. That way I can print them out and take them along. Where is everyone staying at Hays and is there a Hooters there?

alas. there is no hooters in hays-- i'm afraid you will have to make your own or get them off the internet.

Individual high schools have certain responsibilities for the differant classes at the state tournament. In years past, Wichita South High School provided the individual to handle the tournament updates online.

KSHSAA has never provided any online brackets. If the brackets are prepared it is by a volunteer individual at one of the high schools assisting with the administration of the tournament.

how can the brackets have the wrestlers with unknown teams? (im the only one in my class with ?? on team), i mean seriously its right on the internet from region results

KSHSAA had complete brackets with the names schools, records and grade posted on their web site by midnight Sunday morning last year. In 2003 they had it posted by about 11:00 am on Sunday morning.
