The Clay Center Inviataional thread got me wondering:
Which team would take the Team Due/al Grand State 1-6A??? AND Which wrestlers would win the grand state 1-6A individual tournament???
Come on now, EVERYBODY share their picks...

IT WOULD BE VERY HARD TO CHOOSE ANY WRESTLER AT THIS POINT IN THE SEASON. BUT I MUST SAY LOOKING AT TURNERS TEAM FROM TOP TO BOTTEM ID SAY THERE THE BEST TEAM IN THE STATE. BY FAR

turner is very good...its hard to say until later in the year though. after we see how some teams do at big tournaments...then better picks will be made...

I do believe Turner and Hat Town meet up at Salina South during the year. Steves, it will be a tremendous battle. I'm sure naked frisbee will be involved. Best of luck to you and your funny singlets, but as always, my loyalty resides with The Hat.

i've got go with norton here, i think they would win a grand state tournament, they're deep in all weight classes and are still fairly young as well, so they get my vote

Right now, I'd go with Hoxie and Osawatomi. Seems, to be two of the toughest teams out there. Yet Norton may be a young team but they lack leadership as a team. Individually at 125 In 3a Jeff Peterson should easily take the win!
Good Luck!

I am surprised to see Garker make the statement that Turner, a pitiful 5A team, would give the immortal unstoppable Hat Town a "tremendous battle". If Manhattan loses, the world will be lost.

Since this is the best of the best...I think we have to designate the best freshmen from each class.
I think Eck from Andale and the HWT from Sal Central would get my nods for 4 and 5a.

Ahhhh Prant! Now I know what you and the Hat Town boys are up to! You are secretly training for a Naked Frisbee showdown in Salina! Good thing because while we are not that great at wrestling, we have been training to defend our NNFL championship! Should be a fun weekend in central Kansas!
