Some other guys that I think may be the best in the state would be Nash Burtin at 103 or 112, Cale Farber or Tyler Baker of Hoxie at 119, the afore mentioned Clay madden at 125. Also Guy Miller of Scott City has recovered from the injuries that sidelined him last year, if he makes 215 There may be no one in Kansas that is better. I also think that Sprigg will be the best Heavy. The buzz may be for the kids from the bigger schools, but 123 and 4 a has some kids that are awfully good,too. I remember after all the hype when all the favorites went to the senior national high school tourney the only guys that realized the potential to actually place were a Goodland Wrestler and a Hoxie wrestler. This year may be different, but I think the " hayseeds" will likely hold their own.
