I was wondering why Nick Martin from BVN was ranked at 189, but in the paper it's been saying he's wrestling 215.

Why is a kid that wrestled 112 for tonganoxie at state last year ranked 6th in 4A at 135. He didn't even win a match at 112 i don't think. Just wondering how you could jump from 112 to 135 and be ranked.

Yeah, I was curious about how Tait Weatherbee, freshman-119# in 321a dropped from 4th to 5th in the new rankings? Right now he is 12-0 and has pinned 11 of his guys, including Simon Orozco, who is ranked 3rd at 125. And the only match that he did not pin he beat some ranked 6a kid 10-2.

Sorry about that. I was looking at Coach Fergola's site. His site is different than the KWCA rankings.

i dont have any idea why tait dropped but has he lost to the guys ranked ahead of him last year or did they place higher than him at state last year.

Big Time Wrestling:

I am sorry if my site has confused some. I updated the rankings on Monday night and I put down exactly what the other raters have sent me. I know that the 3-2-1A rankings are changed all of the time because Coach Lamar updates them sometimes daily. Hope that helps.

you know. if your ranked, that means that you automatically win state and place where you are ranked. PLease, settle down and look at it for what it is. We are lucky to even have people attempting to rank anyone.

I know it means nothing, but I am just wonder why David Sielert went from 3rd at 125lb in 6A to 4th behind Olyer of Hutch.

They havent met yet and Davids only loss this year was a 4-0 decision to Tyler McCormick.

No big deal, just wondering

Thanks

ranking are not etched in stone, like vike said. they are just sorta nice if you are wrestling a person and you see he is ranked then you atleast get some incite about how good he may be, it ist always right but it can help. there are alot of people that should be ranked and alot that should not but really it doesnt matter cause its just opinion.

i thought that matt crystal from BVNW was at 145, he's ranked 5th at 140. he looked like he had grown when i saw him at fall brawl so im not too sure if he is at 140.

yea, How come Joey Brewster of silver Lake is still ranked 2nd in the State at 171? He took third at Onaga. Mitchell of Belleville won it and has not been ranked all year. Also Matt Young of Effingham beat Del-torro of Royal Valley pretty handley, and his only loss is to Grant of Eudora 1-0. In a great match!! Not even mentioned in 1-3a rankings.
