Some of you may have seen the post that Greg Sloan who was an assistant coach at Schlagle passed away on November 14. Greg wrestled for me in High School and did a great job. He only wrestled for three years but made three trips to state and was a two time regional champion. He was one of the all time best football players in the state, making first team all state teams in his so., jr., and sr. years. He was an All-American Linebacker at CMSU. More than all of that he had a big ole heart and wasn't afraid to show it. He helped at Schlage in football and wrestling and did a great job for them. I am sure he touched all those kids with his time and effort and I know they will miss him. I know I will. Here is to Greg Sloan......

Greg died of heart problems. He had problems with kidney failure for years and his heart was weakend by the years of meds and treatments for his kidneys. Some of you called and asked so I thought I would post here. He had two little kids that he took great care of. It was a real shame for all concerned.
