If this is for over all high school folkstyle type team I think you are off.

It's terrible.

How would you change it?

first of all Edison is wrestling 215 this year. I know he wrestled for FS and GR but he is going 215. Second Cotton won state as a freshmen but doesn't mean it was a great match. I watched it and it was....I am not trying to put him down and do not take away from wrestlers. I just think that you based your off of watching kids this summer or kids you are familar with. Jessen should do well and there are many kids that you could put on there

Edison would also be a strong 215 on the list. I'll move him up. At 152, David Loos was 34-4 last year and I don't know if he's moving up. A good case could be made for Nathan Thibault, but I'll take Romero. He worked hard this summer and you can't go too wrong with a defending state champ.

Compshoes, None of these guys in the line-up are terrible.

Why do you have Erisman at 171 and further more where is Strawn? Erisman 160 and Strawn 189 easily.

I think Erisman plans on wrestling 171 next year. If Strawn is an easy 189, then I agree with him over Hardy.

Can Strawn beat Disney?

I was told Carmona is going 145

Chief is at 245.

Be a fun matchup on paper, but I think Strawn would beat Atticus.

Nothing against Atticus he's good, but I don't think he would go the distance with Jesse. I watched Malay of Wakeeney (Trego_Wrestler) beat Atticus with the same move over and over. I don't know how much better he's gotten in the last year or two but I think strawn is more of a powerhouse type wrestler than Atticus is/was because isn't he kinda a chubbier kid? Nothing agianst him as he's a stud in his own right but I don't think he's in Strawn's League. I was also told that Strawn will be at 215 this year? It's in one of my old posts I believe Bob Phillips said this...

Loos will wrestle 152, may even drop to 145

Interesting lineup ..... I agree that Ely deserves mention ...... and if we're talking about Loos, why not Bailes ..... Aliensteve stuck him in their only meeting last year at Chanute

Bronco Wrestler - I would have to agree that in a match between Atticus and Strawn that Jessie would certainly be the favorite. However, I don't think I would go as far as calling Attiucs chubby (check out the Cadet photos on the home page). And I may have just forgot the match but remind me when Atticus ever wrestled Malay? But I do agree that Strawn is the guy to beat in 4A and I also heard he may go 215.

I meant nothing negative by the comment. The match(es) I was referring too took place in Clay Center I believe 2 years ago. Malay had no one to wrestle and Atticus volunteered to bump up so he did have someone to wrestle and he wrestled double time, which I commend him for. I haven't seen Atticus since then, and then he seemed chubby, but now I do not know. I did not mean anything against a kid like Atticus as he's good and has proven it over and over again. I wish him luck and I hope wins a State title before he's done in High School.

Frank Jonas two state championships and second place finish speak for themselves.

As you well know, Frank will be returning this season attempting to win his third State Championship.

Atticus is in a transition from boy to manimal.I would guess his days of wrestling anyone in highschool stronger than himself are over.I would bet he wins several state titles before he's done.Good wrestler and even better young man,chubby no.
