Cornejo looked as good as I ever saw him. I thought Grater struggled a little. The match is on, I think they should save it for last.

Who takes it? Whose cuisine reigns supreme?

I say Cornejo, if only because most people outside of Wichita seem to be picking Grater. Sorry, llg and my Clay Center friends, but after seeing Cornejo stick Zouzas...you don't take that lightly.

I think it's way close, but Iron Chef Cornejo takes it.

I believe the official did. Grater should have been called for stalling several times. The call of a take down wow I guess you do not have to have control to get it anymore unless Mark Richards is the official.

The officiating was not the best in several matches and the inconsistency of calls left a lot to be desired. Not to take anything away from Danny or Joe but there wasn't one move worked in the match. They were both tenative and didn't wrestle good matches. Several matches at the tournament were good ones and it was a great tournament. The outstanding wrestler award for Danny was more a gesture of who he was and not what he did.

Baldridge pinned all but 1 kid but still deserved the Outstanding Wrestler. I believe Grater only pinned 2 and squeeked by several others. I believe like mentioned above it went to him from his name not his wrestling at Newton

if it didn't go to grater it probably should have went to marrs bars. he pinned everyone he faced in the 1st period.

If you want to go by pins, Marrs pinned his way through.

Outstanding wrestler should go to the individual who performed the best. The best performance of the tournament was by far Mitch Arnold of Bishop Carroll. This isn't the heisman race, a freshman really should have won this one.
