Had heard he'd wrestled hurt early this year, but any word on when Schamberger will be back?

Mr. Church,
Did you make it out? Was it to your liking? From my vantage point it was a very tough tourney! I wish Hoxie hadn't been so down, they normally bring a lot more fans, and when the team title is on the line it gets cranked in there, but since Norton already had it locked up, the atmosphere wasn't quite as intenses as usual.

I see that Male Kann roped his school into traveling all the way to the sticks of Norton. Yikes. Poor guys.

Male- was Boyle in attendance? If so, was he provided adequate security so that Dingbat and his gi-normous mancrush could not overtake him? Please let me know.

Prant, Beff Joyle was in attendance, but was properly escorted by his bodyguards, known to common folk as the NCHS Cheer Squad, they provided adequate protection from any man crash....

I'd be curious to know of Mr. Church's thoughts too, if he made the journey.

Pretty easy to pick a polished wrestler out from the group, but difficult to know how good they are when you don't have a known measuring to stick to compare them against. So....I'd be curious to know of his observations.

and we all know that with Dingbat's lack of ability to talk to the ladies, females would be the best bodyguards against the powers of his mancrush. although i thought that Dingbat repelled women, not the other way around.

actually i dont even know dingbat, but i couldnt resist.

The finals were out of this world, it had to be one of the toughest tournaments of the week, as I seen some of the best wrestling in a very long time as there were several multi state Champions in the brackets.

I can not say which match was the biggest nail bitter.

I'd say the best match would have to be either the Pfannenstiel-Lemmer match or the Sprigg-Miller match.

that match was pretty good, as was the 112 match between Madden NT and Chrisinger Cozad Nebraska, 2-1 with Chrisinger in deep a couple times, but very good matches as was the 119 match with Brockelman NT and Migalbrink sp?

The OW Award went to Hwt Michael Sprigg from Norton. I was a little surprised because normally Heavyweights do not win this award.

Prant,
Unfortunately your question was answered far more wittingly (is that even a word?) than I could by Bronco Wrestler and chewbaca.

I am very glad we made the trip out west, I think it made us better, and showed some of our kids that they still have some work to do. It was also great to see alot of the people I don't normally get a chance to see during my brief trips back home.

Norton hosted another terrific tournament and they should be complemented on that. They even got the wrestlers beat out in the pig tails 1-2 more matches during the day, not many varsity tournaments do that.

Coach Johnson, Thanks again for your hospitality, it was a great experience for our kids!

Sounds like a man crush is brewin

BroncoWrestler:
What was the score when you "slipped"? If I remeber right it was something like 4 or 5 to 0. I just don't want to take anything away from the mill valley kid, who is a pretty tough freshman.
