I was just wandering if any teams were checked for underwear this weekend ?? Does anyone have an opinion on weather wrestlers should or should not have to ware underwear. Is there a rule about this and what is it and the number of the rule and page number in rule book.

Just asking a question on a topoic. I see that I got responses from the usual ones who can not answer a simple question, but yet own a pc and can type. Seems like U guys just want to tell me I can not spell (that I know) or challenge my being a good parent. I feel sorry for your kids if God allowed U to have any. Also I noticed that the ones with the biggest mouths do not post a name or address on their profiles. So answer me this question R U an idiot or just a sore looser ???? That ot to be a simple enough question to answer.. :p

At the sake of taking a departure from usual well thought-out and intelligent commentary of this forum, the answer to the question is yes, all wrestlers are required to wear a proper undergarment under their singlets. Failure to do so will result in the same penalties as taking the mat without headgear, taped laces, etc. Some equipment companies are offering lycra undergarments now that are supposed to be much more comforable than regular underwear. Hope this answers your question.

BIG RED, Thanks for you reply. I do hope that you were expressing sarcasm when refering to this form as well thought-out or intelligent !!(in alot of the posts except for tounament results and such ) I still would like to know the rule # and page and what is considered "proper". Again thank you for your "intelligent" response to my question. You are way ahead of the other replys here so far.

It's on page 14 of the current NFHS rule book. Rule 4, Section 1, Article 1-C.

You're welcome Trigger's Dad. Since I'm assuming you're asking a legitimate question, I'm glad to help. As for those whose own fascination of the more preverse side of the matter goes, have a nice time. It says a great deal, doesn't it?

Big Red, Yes, my original post was a legitimate question about underwear. I guess my spelling has become the main issue though. I sure would hate to be a kid of someone who can not answer a simple question but instead becomes defensive and makes insults. Must be **** at home !! Also it is very hard to have a battle of wits with unarmed people :p .Thank You again for the ONLY intelligent answer I received... SO MANY PROOF READERS HERE WHY DO PAPERS HAVE SO MANY TYPE O's ????

Dingleberry, LOL I would have to agree with ya. Underwear topic really brings em out of the woods and into the house. Tune in next week when I start a post on mothers that need to go on a diet or stay at home. :p
