On a related note, we dualed a bus full of third grade girls, and won by an equally impressive margin. (Leavenworth, while producing Shawn Bunch, is not necessarily considered a state powerhouse. It's like bragging about K-State beating Missouri in football.)
On a somewhat related note, does anyone think Emporia will lose their 300-year reign as Centennial League champs? I thought they would until last week at Junction, when they were pretty impressive. Anyone think Scrawnee Whites will beat them?

it'll be close, but emporia will edge out the league title against shawnee heights. Emporia has a pretty consistent line up.

Don't be so sure. Heights has at least 6 number on seads, all of which should win their brackets. The rest of their wrestlers are pretty good also.

Hahahaha, Emporia will win hands down. Emporia beat shawnee heights in a dual by 1 point but they had 3 varsity kids out. They will win just as bad as they did last year.

Shawnee Heights also had two varsity guy out and was open at two weights. It will be tough to beat Heights when they get to the upper weights.

It will be a Shawnee Heights/Emporia Finals due. Don't be surprised if SH win 152-HWT, along with 119. Here's my predictions
103- Wasson, Sea
112- Ast, Emp
119- Gardner, SH
125- Herrera, Emp
130- Cook, HP
135- Nelson, Emp
140- Kenney, Hay
145- Adkins, Emp
152- Reedy, SH
160- Hart, SH
171- Malloy, SH

Although Shawnee Heights might have 7 champs, it will still be close, due to lack of teams/good teams in the tournament, as there is only 6 teams. In a big tournament, Shawnee Heights would drill Emporia, but it will be VERY close this weekend!

I would have Kosko winning at 152. Also, Slocum winning at 275.
