What I can tell you from Nebraska:

Their top teams couldn't handle KS top teams (manhattan, Hoxie, etc)

The refs there are HORRIBLE. They worry more about caution starts than calling pins and illegal holds.

I'm not making excuses, because we got beat up pretty good, but just some info for our wonderful state of KS!!!

I hate to burst your bubble, but the Nebraska teams that were at the tournament are not high quality teams. Lincoln East is heads and shoulders above the teams that were there. So before making a general statement about Nebraska wrestling, you may want to look deeper.

ok, Lincoln East, Aurora and Skutt, but from all the results I have seen Papillion and Northeast are right behind them. I have also seen Burke and they finished well behind Ark City and Bishop Carroll. It is just an observation. I'm not trying to say there is bad wrestling in Nebraska, I'm just asying it is not as good as KS.
