hey Roberts is good, and got alot better as the year went on. it surprised me to see someone that good come out of louisburg. he just had a bad state tourney, if he continues to work hard and get better, he'll be a force.

If Concordia can fill some weight classes left open last year in this next season look out for the Panthers to be on the Prowl, though I really think there are a couple of the NCKL league teams that could be in the hunt of things.

Well Im not going to say that Abilene will win State next year, But they are returning 13 starters from last years team, including 1 state champion and 3 placers, Plus they have some good freshman coming up. Look for them to finish in the top 5.

I believe Goodland will be up there. They are returning 6 state qualifiers, 4 of those 6 placed.
Dexter Deeds at 103 got 4th at state this year as well as a Kansas Kids state champion this year, he'll be a sophomore next year.
Blayze Bahe at 112 got 2nd at state this year as well as a Kansas Kids state champion this year, he'll be a junior next year.
Taylor Brack at 152 got 4th at state this year, he'll be a senior next year.
Jordan Bedore was a state champion at 215 this year, he'll be a junior next year.
Goodland also had 4 underclassmen on the varsity squad that are state qualifier material.
My top 5 in no order for next year in 4A are Clay Center, Goodland, Colby, Concordia, and Columbus

I have a real hard time seeing Abilene out of the top 5 for next year, heck seeing them out of the top 3 will be a stretch.

Colby is going to be incredibly tough to beat next year. If the team comes together like it did a year ago look for 2003 to be the Year of the Eagle. ... Clay Center, Concordia and Abilene will all be loaded next year and any of the three could win the title.
My personal prediction would be: 1. Colby; 2, Abilene; 3, Goodland; 4, Clay Center; 5, Concordia.

4a will be a battle next year between several teams I think Goodland, Colby will be tough then Abilene returns 60.5 state points plus Geske also Fort Scott returns 13 varsity kids and 56 returning state points and that was without Metcalf at state. Clay Center will be tough again as the return 52 points, and two other teams that will make a run next year will be Concordia and Columbus.
