Kansas Wrestling Forums General Discussion High School Looking for Tournament

Oak Park High School (KC, MO) is looking for a tournament in late Jan. or early Feb. for the upcoming season. If anyone knows of any openings, please let me know.

Boy, if Oak Park could get into the Bobcat Classic that would really make it a brawl. They are one of the toughest teams in MO, combine that with the Bobcat lineup and Wow!!!! I don't know if there are any opening but it sure would make a great tournament even better.

We would love to have them if Missouri rules
would allow them to attend. However, Missouri
schools are not able to attend a tournament
of our size (24 teams )after Xmas. Hopefully
this rule will change someday and allow us
to add some Missouri schools. This year's
lineup includes Abilene, ACCHS, Andale, Basehor-Linwood, Blue Valley, Bonner Springs, Chapman, Columbus, DeSoto, Eudora, Ft. Scott, Garden City, Glenwood, Iowa, Goodland, Junction City, Lawrence Free State, Olathe North, Paola, Santa Fe Trail,
Shawnee Heights, Shawnee Mission East, Spring Hill, St. Thomas Aquinas and Turner.

That would be interesting because they had four AA's at Fargo that will be returning this year.

Actually we had 5 AA's at Fargo. When is the date for the Bobcat Classic?

Elijah is in Salina playing football. Kolton Kono is going to Oak Park. He will be fighting for a varsity 189 lb spot.

Thank you for all the info on tournaments. We will be going to the Baldwin Tournament. Be fun wrestling some different kids.
