I agree... Bonner does have a strong team this year. There 112 pounder last year was Myjestic Hickmon, but he might be at 103 this year... and their 112 pounder might be Erick Ratliff. He placed 5th at 103 last year and has potential to do well this year. They also have a few other wrestlers who may also do very well like Matt Middleton, Spencer Buck and mabye even Danny Gardner.

Does anyone out there know what kind of team Bishop Carroll will have this year?

I predict Figge at 160. Hart won't stand a chance.

Nick, Tim will probably be at 112 but might try 103 as the year goes on,planning on 112 for the Fall brawl hope to see you there ,and wish you the bestof luck on your first highschool season hard work pays off and I expect you'll be a major factor come state.

I don't know if Bishop Carroll can repeat but they will be competitive. They have four returning medalists: Brown (3rd at 112), Loos (6th at 119), Sponsel (6th at 160), and Sponsel (4th at 171). In addition they have two more Sponsels and a heavyweight who all had nearly undefeated records last year but were stuck behind state champions. They also have a strong freshman class led by Liam Kastor at 103. If he can get his weight up to 103 he is going to be very competitive.
With JV and kids records to go on that is a lot of speculation so I will withold predictions until we see how the new blood does on the varsity level. But the defending state champions should not be left out of the discussion.

I believe Ty Richardson of Ark City, defending 189lb. State Champion, is back as a senior this year isn't he? He's got to be the pick to defend his title.

No way will Gardner be 112. He'll either be 119 or 125

Ya, you are probably right but I think that all three of those guys(Gardner,Knox,Baldrige)are a head above the rest in the lower weights and would be nice to see them spread out and all win a state championship. I just thought that Gardner was probably the smallest(though probably the best)and would have the best chance at making 112lbs. since he wrestled at 105lbs. or something like that over the summer

If you look at the results posted on http://www.midwestwrestlingreport.com both Harding and Gardner wrestled @ 119lbs(with a 3lb. allowance) at the Fall Brawl just a few weeks ago!

Shawnee Heights should not be left out of the predictions.
