Who does everyone think is the best team of all classes in Kansas? My vote goes to Bishop Carroll. Please don't get mad if someone says your team isn't the best. This is just for FUN.

i would like to say that Clay Center beat Derby bad at the Newton Inv. even though Clay Center wrestled really bad. Plus at the Beloit Tourney Clay Center Beat mahattan by more than 50 points. But Hands down the best in the state is carroll.

Clay Center may have beat Derby at the Newton tourny. but heydidnot have a full bracket. With a full bracket they are hard to beat.   :p

I'm going with Bishop Carroll. They are the strongest I've seen in years. Their 4 2002 State Champs can tell you that too.

I would have to say maybe some of the smaller school in the 3-2-1A class. Those school aren't big but they've got some pretty good wrestlers.
Hoxie, Oakley, Ellsworth, Carroll, Manhattan are all good schools.

In the past 5 years Hoxie has earned three state team titles and two state runner-up finishes in 3-2-1A. This year they finished second to Clay Center at the Beloit Tournament without three varsity wrestlers (Ochs @ 112, Schippers @ 130 and Campbell @ 152 - all of whom placed at state this year). Even short handed they finished ahead of Manhattan.

Argue as you see fit, but Hoxie would have to be in the top ten - and probably should be top 5. Oh yeah, they only had one senior on varsity this year and he did not qualify for state this year - so they should be even better next year.

I didn't rank 3-2-1a in the top 7, because I have never seen them wrestle.
