Well, Orozco and Weatherbee tomorrow...FOR THIRD!!! Unbelievable as Cody Garvin of Baxter Springs took down Orozco and put him on his back for a 5 point move and a 6-4 win. And Jason Pyle of Sabetha beat Tait in the last few seconds. Perhaps we all overlooked Garvin and Pyle

Wow again. But neither Weatherbee nor Orozco have made it to go for 3rd and 4th YET. Still have one to win each. Both great wrestlers.

Well I just got back to Sabetha after the tournament. I watched the Pyle vs. Garvin match on tape about 4 times when I got home. Jason wrestled like a man on a quest. He showed confidence and poise the entire way through the tournament, impressive for a Sophmore.
Pyle wrestled his best tournament of the year. What a great time to peak!
His match with Tait was action packed throughout. On their feet almost the entire match. He showed alot of guts against Garvin. he was moving and working for the advantage the entire match. Congrats on your first State title J!
I would also like to thank all of my wrestlers for competing so hard this year, Varsity and JV. I love this sport and everything it teaches student athletes about life. You can not win all the time, when you lose, dust yourself off and fight back.
To all those who wrestle, ref, coach, or support the oldest sport in the world thanks for making life what it is, fun!
