Well mr lane you did a great job on them rankings in 5a yeah right, and knox I think is done for the year he got beat in the semi's by a nobody and then didn't make it back from eating in time for his 3 and 4th place match and forfited so i think he is ineligable for the state tourny got to love them wichita west wrestlers.

IS TURNER REALLY TAKING ALL 14 TO STATE. THAT IS SO AWESOME. GOOD LUCK!!!!

You are not worth the dignity of a reply but I will say something anyways. If you can do a better job with them, then volunteer and donate your time. I spend countless hours searching for results. Am I infallible? No. (if you don't know what that means then look it up)
I have said it before and I will say it again, rankings are a hypothetical guess. All this is based on history. Up until this weekend, not too many people have been able to prove the history wrong. If Knox Jr. is unable to wrestle at state because he did not show for his forfeit, well that is unfortunate. He is an excellent wrestler and your poking fun of him shows the low class with which you operate. I do know that there are some issues that he is dealing with that may have impacted his ability to perform. Most wrestlers usually push those issues aside this time of the year. You, however, have no excuse. You are classless, immature, and this is the last time I will reply to any of your worthless posts. If you don't like the rankings, do your own. I am sure in your world you might do a better job. I would be glad to discuss any of this further in person. You can see me next week in the coliseum. I will be next to 12 wrestlers dressed in green, many of whom aren't in the rankings.

Knox jr. Sorry to hear about this incident. You are a very talented wrestler and I wish you could have had a better outcome. Good luck in your future, whatever you do.

Coach Lane, I would just like for you to know that there are others out here who do understand that the rankings aren't perfect, and that wrestlers may not live up to what they're expected of. I know that rankings mean nothing, it's how you wrestle at state that is remembered. But I do enjoy the rankings, and enjoy keeping track of certain wrestlers progression through the season, of which the rankings are a type of reflection of. I would like to thank you and all others who work tirelessly to provide us with the rankings, and also like to thank you for your defense of Knox. While certain actions are unnecessary and uncalled for, so is the fact that others get off seeing these people act this way so they have something to feel superior to. Just thought I'd let you know that your work was appreciated.

wow all this hate a week before state shame shame all i have to say is with 14 guys you better be in the top three. and COACH LANE EVERY ONE OF THE GUYS YOU RANKED IN THE TOP 8 AND MOST OF THE OTHERS IN YOUR RANKING AT 189 ARE RIGHT ON SO ID SAY YOU DID A GREAT JOB.

Coach Lane, you did a good job with rankings all year, don't sweat it. I wish that Turner would have been at Kaupaun this weekend and Carroll would have been Bonner Springs, I think the outcome would have been much different. Carroll didn't wrestle well at all and still got 9 to State. I hope Turner still remembers what happened at Chanute when they got tails beat by 50 points.

Coach Lane, I do understand where you are coming from. As we all know rankings are actually just for fun and only gives us something to talk about. It also gives each wrestler a chance to be known by others outside the sport. I appreciate anybody who wants to take the time to put together a set of rankings. They will never be 100% as we both know yet you still give us all the satisfaction. I also understand having somebody hide behind a screen name and talk about your dignity etc. etc. as did my good buddy "Pull My Finger", who has yet to ID him/herself. I have learned however, that these people are ignorant and not worth our time. We are the ones spending hours with our kids. We lose sleep over this sport. We get sick and we enjoy every part of this sport. Good Luck to everyone this week-end and I wish you all the best of luck and one hell of a state tourney.
