It may be next week sometime before all results will be posted. 63 duals will be wrestled during the next two days.

Hey Coach... I see the teams are as tough as ever. I will be anxious to see how things turn out. The wrestling in St. Louis is excellent. Who knows... maybe I can talk my administration into taking a team to Western Kansas down the road. Good Luck to all. It's nice being able to follow everyone on this forum.

... the world will little note, nor long remember what we said here, but it should never forget what they did here...

Hey Higley, good to see you still remember us out here. Hope all is well for you. Take care and bring a team this way next year!

Just wonder when you thought you might have results up? I find it is really boring here in Indiana, on the last Saturday before finals. Please, help an old Kansas wrestler out!

Going to be a while on the individual results. Have lots of matches to sift through. I have no scores but the top 9 team placings went like this:

1. Scott City
2. Garden City
3. Sante Fe Trail
4. Hoxie
5. Chapparal, CO
6. Shawnee Heights
7. Oberlin
8. Colby
9. Wray, CO

Hope that is enough to hold you over with. I will get to work on the rest.

Thank you soooo much. And let me add that Colby runs a very fine tournament, I always enjoyed competing there.

So Scott City Eh? That comes as a bit of a surprise to me, you never can tell at the start of the season can you? Anyway, Kudos for a successful tourny!

And, congrats to Shawnee Heights for placing above 7th, something we could never accomplish in my three years at Colby.

So, does anybody have the SFT-Hoxie score? How much did SFT beat them?

Hoxie lost 30 - 37, it was very close. Some matches could have went both way's. Plus Hoxie gave up lost's of points to open weights.

I have got a few matches completed on the web site. I put the Hoxie - Trail match on for the fanatic. The scores are all correct but the individual results on many of the duals will not be completed until later this week.

Hoxie only had one open weight which was 112 even if that match was won for hoxie it still would have not won them the duel.

You guys lined up and beat them. Congrats. I am sure most of the Hoxie folks are not looking for an excuse. They got whipped. May not have happened last week or maybe not next, but who knows, you wrestled on this day and lined up and beat them. Again,Congrats!
P.S. I think I know what you were trying to say. The score of the 13 matches you lined up and wrestled still gives you the win.

In the Hoxie vs. Colby dual, there should have been a competitive match between C. Garcia and M. Gilliland at 140 lbs., can anyone provide the results and a brief synopsis?

Did Tate Weatherbee from Thomas More and Tyler Baker from Hoxie wrestle? If so, kindly provide the results and a brief description?

Also, congratulations to Ryan Kromer from Garden City for returning to the mat after his recent accident.

Lastly, congratulations and a big THANK YOU to Coach Beims and the folks at Colby.

The surprising thing to me is that 3 of the 4 studs for SFT lost and they still won. Schmale, Connelly, Wiscombe and Eden accounted for only one win and I think you wouldn't expect them to win lots unless these four were leading the charge. Yes! I know they lost because the matched up with Hoxies studs, but When I saw SFT had won, I incorrectly presumed SFT had to win the stud match ups.

I don't believe that Tait Weatherbee and Baker wrestled. I think that they didn't wrestle because baker was sick the first day when their teams were supposed to duel eachother.

Looks like maybe Scoot City is for real this year-- They have struggled recently and possibly their turn is coming.

Actually you take the 6 points away from SFT at 112 and it makes it 31-30 in favor of SFT. But then as you said if Hoxie would have won it, that makes it 33-31 in favor of Hoxie which means they would have won the dual. No excuse, just saying your wrong in your statement.

We'll take the 6 points away from SFT...so it is 31-30 SFT. Question here is does Hoxie have anyone at that weight? Were they sick or something? Well if you do have an individual there you have to wrestle Lorenzo Mundy and I'm not even from Trail or close to it, but I've watched this kid wrestle at State last year and he's quite impressive! He isn't no push-over. Was he going to lose? I don't think he probably would have. So all in all, Trail wins. No more excuses from you Hoxie people about this dual, you lost fair and square. Probably won't happen again this year, but this day it did.

Sorry, wasn't making excuses....replied to the statement "Even if Hoxie would have won 112, they wouldnt' have won the dual." That statement is wrong, and I was just pointing it out.
