do Turner have their own town government. when I look at the address of Turner High School it say KANSAS CITY KS... maybe my civics is off but don't that mean that Turner is not even a town but is really just Kansas City (like a sub-division)???

Man are you going to make all those Turner guys mad at you. Don't you remember when Turners mayor had so much trouble a few years ago. Turner has been around for a long long time over there and they dont consider themselves a subdivision. Cause they aren't. Just like Olathe is not a subdivision of Overland Park. Nor is Lenexa, Shawnee, well you get the picture.

All the towns in Wyandotte County are now in the Unified Government. That may be what you are confusing things with. They still are their own entitities though. Piper, Edwardsville, Turner, all the rest as well as KCK. Technically KCK doesn't have a mayor anymore but it is still a city. They just combined all of those city governments into a county one and let that do the whole deal but they didnt consolidate the different towns.

It never was a city/town/country to get abolished in the first place. It's just an area of kansas city

Turner is just a district in Kansas City. Yes they still have civics in turner, and no we don't have a mayor. Our mayor is the mayor of KCK... Carol Marinabitch... (actually i think it's marinavitch). We are kinda like a town, cuz of the size, but we aren't "technically" a town.

Kansas City is a city and it's part of the Unified Governament of KCK and Wyandotte County... The KCK and County government have consiladated... Bonner Springs and Edwardsville remain the only other towns in Wyandotte COunty... NOT TURNER or PIPER

By the way KCK does not have a mayor. Ask Coach Sczyzgiel to explain it to you heck he is from Turner for crying outloud. Quit skipping his class!!!

I actually go to coach szcygiels class every other day, and the next time I see him i'll ask, then once and for all everybody on this entire forum will know KCK has a mayor (Carol Marinovich) and Turner is a mere district.

Hey listen to me and tell coach I sent you. Marinivich is the Mayor of the Unified Government not KCK. So I win under your criteria KCK is not a town and tell Coach I said to get off his butt and teach you civics lol.

besides I did away with Turner remember. Tell Coach I disbanded his hometown.
