mchurch, you bring up a good point. While my teammates and I try to make it to basketball games as often as possible, most other students do not attend wrestling tournaments, even if they are near town. Our girls basketball team just won sub-state, and the school is dismissing students at 1:30 on Thursday, and allowing students to ride a pep bus to salina to cheer on the Lady Chieftains.
But no such allowances were put in place when we went to State wrestling. I realize that wrestling is not as popular as basketball in eastern Kansas, but a little more support would be appreciated. Agreed?
