What happened to Marcus Herrera at the Newton TOC? He was an undefeated state champion last year and didn't even make it to the semifinals this year.

My friend told me this was his first tournament of the season. So what can you expect, especially at such a hard tournament.

i spoke with an emporia cheerleader tonight. she said that he had hurt his shoulder pretty bad. but that he plans to wrestle at regionals.

My question - do you need a certain number of matches wrestled before you can wrestle at regionals? Or said another way, what if i didn't wrestle all season. Can i just show up at regionals and wrestle anyway?

well he had 3-4 four matches at newton so yes he can just show up at regionals and be able to wrestle.

i was 3 - 1, my first real varsity match was regionals. so i'm gonna take it he can do that.
