OK...I can see having wrestlers from Baldwin in the Metro Classic...St. Joseph (Mo.) Central and Santa Fe Trail are very questionable, but at least they are both within about 50 miles of Kansas City...

But when did Fort Scott become part of the Kansas City metropolitan area? Did the town suddenly move two counties to the north and join Miami County?

Nothing against Alvin Metcalf (Fort Scott), but if you are going to have a "Metro" Classic, at least use wrestlers within 50 miles or so of Kansas City, not 100 miles...

I find it hard to believe that Metro Classic organizers can't find a single 12th grade wrestler within the KC metro area to compete instead of those from "outside the area."

At least Ft Scott isn't as far away as Sabetha. There was a kid on the KS squad (Matt Pyle) from there last year.

Who freaking cares....recruit the best guys to beat those Mizzouri pansies. Why dont we call it the semi-metro classic and get Cody Garcia and Sequoyia Hill

metcalf, what is so wrong with that. He is a state champion at 152. 152 was one of the toughest brachets in the state.
