I think that most of the predictions are probably very close, however I do think that some are overlooking Burtin @103 lbs. from Eureka. I saw him wrestle in Phillipsburg last weekend. He pinned Tibbles in the 3rd period and was up by 4-1 on points. He also beat Richards by a pin (I think) last year in the early rounds at State. My pick for 103 goes to Burtin!

I would have to say Tyler Bell of Herington will beat Jordan again this year at state if they were to face each other. Bell is wrestling very well right now.
Rather be Lucky then good

Jordan only beat Roe 6-2 at P-Burg which is the largest point differential all year. It could go either way between them, they will possibly meet at least two more times. Regionals and state

Does anyone think Ross has a chance at 171 ? Only two close loses on the season.

I think Hoxie will win and Oberlin will wrestle very well at state.

Plattner is a good kid and even more he knows how to compete. His wrestling skills are probably as good as Horinek but "physically" he is not near the caliber of Horinek.

I'm not sure if his wrestling ability is that or Horinek's yet.
So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet

We had the discussion on a similair topic in 99 Dennis vs Montgomery. Dennis destroyed him. Lucas Scott isnt wrestling well rite now younger Dennis will win. Scott has to get by Larsen from Lincoln that may be pretty tough Also Smith Center hasnt had a state cham since the 80's. And at 112 Owings vs Madden Owings has won 2 in a row I see them maybe splitting the next 2 but I still see Owings winning the one that mattters. Now on Honas and Sprigg, Honas is defnitley the better wrestler. Sprigg reminds me to much of Chucky Delmont good at drags and stuff but a great staller

Bell at 135 no doubt. He's a stud. He's beat about everyone he will have to wrestle. He's lost one time,(passmore,ChaseCounty) on a bs call by a referee who has unresolved issues with Herington's wrestling program. I give credit to anyone who has beat him. I have grown up with the guy and he shows no mercy when he gets on the mat. He ended my wrestling career last year during practice. he did two things, first he **** near broke my neck, then he threw in the legs and tore my abs in two places when he went to turn me

keep in mind that st francis, hoxie etc. are all in the same regional. i don't think that other teams such as herington will be somewhere in the top 5, and not all the huge names

If I did my addition correctly that would be 11-Norton 1-Hoisington 2-Pleasant Ridge _____________________________________________
Maybe I'm the only one lost mathematically trying to figure what in the heck you are adding up!
As for Bell losing to Passmore on a bs ref call, that's why you dominate your opponent so the ref doesn't have to decide the match.

Lamar 145 pinned his way in to the finals and lost by one point last year to Gilliand.

From the Hesston regionals. Ryan Zogleman from GP at 119 will be tuff. Dustin Foster at 160 if he wrestles smart. (he from halstead. Nathan Zogleman of bluestem at 189 is very underated and could have a good state not saying he will win but he will be tuff.
