I was at a tournament a few weekends ago and heard some coaches yelling to their wrestlers to use the Ice Pick. What is this move?

That is really a funny post in a way. I used to go to clinics or talk to coaches in Iowa and never had a clue what they were talking about when discussing moves until I saw what they were doing, conversely when I went to Oklahoma State it was like we were speaking the same language because everyone in Western Kansas at that time was so heavily influenced by coaches from there. It just depends on where you are and who you are taught by and it sure can sound like a foreign language when you are an outworlder.

Pennywise#2, that was actually just Brad Johnson yelling out more nonsense moves. Other favorites of his include:

Oh yes, the badger claw, that one is hardcore. Another favorite of mine is the "mexican pinwheel."
Oh snap.

I thought the "Ice Pick" was a move originated by the Cosa Nostra Grapplers of the now defunct New Jersey Wrestling Alliance?
Also, I'm surprised that no-one mentioned the most feared hold of all time.....the dreaded Texas Teabag. Not only illegal in the entire Western Hemisphere with the exception of the SWPSC (Southwestern Penal System Conference) but in Russia, Iran, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

I am also remembering a move which was explained by Peremy_Jarker, which was entitled "The Jitterbug Juniper." I have never seen this move, but I assume it's spectacular.
Oh snap.

I thought the ice pick was what you use to get wrestlers off the the mats in Wichita after a match at state.

I believe the Texas Teabag was originally developed in Mexico. After the Spanish American war Texas took credit for it.

There are some more that coach Bammes taught me. The Manhatten guys think they don't exist. The Elephant Cradle The Peek-a-boo Hooker Foot ( I think he learned that one in Bangcock) The 3 Quarter Reverse Nelson (Only legal in 3 states) The Underground Double Leg( vertually unstoppable) The Wisconsin Duckover (so far Mike is the only one to successfully complete this move. His younger brother Shawn has attempted it on several occasions, so far without success) My all time favorite: The Mexican Bootleg

All good moves, but nothing compared to the "Terrible Texas Two-Timing Beer-Battered Bong Blast," which was developed by the Mayan Indians as a defense against the Spanish invaders. It's really quite impressive to watch.
