Whoever is in charge of the 5A rankings may want to review some of the tournament information. The #2 ranked wrestler at 103 doesn't wrestle 103. Conner Crumbliss and Tristen Deshazer are ranked 4 & 5? They should be 1 & 2.

the 5A rankings are not the updated ones. Brent Lane just emailed out the new rankings today. I am sure they will be updated soon.

Yeah, I am too lazy to update the rankings on the website so I haven't done it yet. But rest assurred, it will get done someday soon. I have no excuse because I have nothing else to do. Jeez, what is wrong with me. Seriously, it will be done tonight.

Just one note about the new rankings. Tony Lewis from Ulysses is wrestling 275, but he is still ranked at 215.

And after seeing Tony handle Honas he should be ranked pretty high at Hwt. in 4A also.

4A is updated usually each week, but it varies on how much information I can dig up on tournaments over the weekend! To suggest that some weight classes have not changed since the very beginning is just plain wrong! Perhaps you are looking for someone who you feel should be in there and has not yet been brought to my attention. If you think you deserve to be in the top six then have your coach e-mail me and tell me why and who you've beat. Keep in mind that beating somebody in the rankings does not necessarily guarantee you a spot over them in the rankings. By that definition, the Colorado Buffaloes should be the #5 team in the country in college basketball. Sorry to use swear words (basketball) in this forum. Previous accomplishments, high winning percentages over quality opponents, consistency during the season and high finishes in strong tournaments are the main factors that influence the rankings. The rest is just speculation and guesswork by myself and other coaches that give me suggestions.
