I don't think I realized before the season started just how young Hat Town is this year. I know there's been some scuttlebutt about Wee Loodford leaving and being replaced by Gob Bonzales, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I think Goach Conzalez has proven he can work with individual wrestlers quite well and will do a heck of a job with these guys once they are older. As for state this year, I still think the Hat will surprise some people.

A few questions:
I listened to Wandrew Agner's match online--how close was he to getting the takedown at the end of the first period?
Where did Hrett place in a stacked 140 bracket?
Who is Josh Williams and why is Hat Town always so loaded in fat weights?
Where was Aeve Standrus?
Did anyone eat two banana split Blizzards and a blue Mr. Misty at the DQ and throw up like I did?

Grant Parker--I believe you mean "listened".

Josh Williams- I was told was a JV wreslter and honestly he did a great job. Heavyweight wasn't as stacked as in years past. Josh's bigest win came against the Royal Valley kid that is very aggressive and Josh went right after him.

Noticed that Silver Lake finisheddown in the final standings and that three other 3-2-1A schools finished ahead of them. Were they at full strength for Beloit?

Would imagine that Silver Lake was coached as they always have been, which is quite well. Some weekends go like that.

SichardDRalyer-

Thank you for pointing out my spelling mistake. It has been noted and appropriately edited. I encourage everyone who notices typos (especially in my posts) to point them out, for I feel they should be corrected.

Unlike some on this forum, Mr. Ralyer, some of us man up and accept that we've made mistakes. Rather than delete our posts, we accept that we're not gods and move on. You should try it sometime.

It's good to know that the tradition of depth at the North end of the mat room (the Fat Man's Playground) is still great. What year is this Wosh Jilliams character?

As always, go Hat.

Nebraska is awesome. They treat their athletes like gold up there. He loves it. The biggest difference is getting his butt kicked!

Hey Mr. LaMar I am Farris Derby's grandson. I guess you are related to him but ya him and Janet always talk about you and your son. They were wondering how he liked it so I guess I will tell them know.

I heard that James Write was out with a dislocated elbo at the beloit tourny. But he did go ahead and beat the guy who won the 171 bracket from concordia at the concordia duel tournament.
